Wells Liberal Democrats are very sad to inform you that Sir Chris Clarke OBE, who was formerly County Councillor for the City of Wells, died yesterday. Chris was a Mendip Councillor, as well as a Somerset County Councillor, and served terms as Leader of both councils. His funeral will be private, but there will be a memorial service in the New Year.
